I enjoyed the contacts with Eddie and the talks we had about pool. He was a man with extreme knowledge in pool. The Real Fast Eddie that the movies portrayed of him. Eddie Parker's place in the American Pool Hall of Fame was never in doubt after he was immortalized by Paul Newman as "Fast" Eddie in the 1961 film The Hustler.
